I help organizations win real change for America’s low-income and working families, with a range of targeted tactics.  Together with progressive advocates, I design and lead coalitions and campaigns to pass, reauthorize, or fund critical public policies for children and families.   We can work comprehensively, or on particular organizing, lobbying, or communications priorities, at the local, State or federal level.  With foundations, I advise on strategic grant-making for low-income families and organize training and technical assistance for grantees.  A new area of focus is assisting small businesses — especially in the food sector — to develop a strategic plan for their charitable activities, incorporating their giving, fund-raising, volunteering, and more.
