I design and execute campaigns to pass (or stop) legislation and budget items in Sacramento and Washington, DC, with a range of grassroots and grasstops advocacy, direct lobbying, and communications tactics.

Examples of my Campaign work include:

• Leading a comprehensive state budget campaign for a “Family Recovery Budget” in 2010, with the HHS Network and communications consultants Full Court Press, that prevented devastating cuts and built support for additional revenues.
• Advising the Wal-mart Foundation on the design of their new “Fighting Hunger Together” campaign to provide $2 billion in food and grants nationwide.
